We had a nice road trip to Rancagua today, to pick up the new member of the Towl Llanos clan. With the help of Thom, Maria and Luke we collected a 1959 Lambretta LI 150 Series 1. Hooray for us. We are the mods. Possibly.

Amber behaved very well, as did Luke. We convened in El Beto to celebrate with plates of fish. A good day all round.

The Empanada has rotted at the back of the fridge for a while now. With few ventures off the sofa in winter, getting up only to stop Amber eating something toxic, it has been hard to generate the necessary content for the legions of followers this blog no doubt attracts. Gone are the days of 5 star weekends in Argentina, and fancy photos of beach front walks. But still, the other day we did go to the park. It was a bright, sunny, winter Saturday afternoon, and Amber had a bit of a swing, on a swing, and we stared at the snow covered mountains and wished we were rich enough to ski (not that we'd actually go skiing if we were rich, but we could get a bigger sofa).
